Despite many difficulties, of which the COVID-19 pandemic with its state and municipal countermeasures is not even the biggest, we can at least set up a virtual meeting place for Europe again this year. Last year, only the really came from Meeting point Europe convinced citizens virtually together and showed how small the circle of those who are actually committed actually is. But this also amazed everyone present, how over the years they have been able to inspire so many of their fellow citizens for Europe as a meeting place; This alone testifies to the quality of the performances and the Lukullik presented exclusively at the Meeting Point Europe, which is hard to find anywhere else in the world in this excellent quality.

In 2020, all those taking part agreed that they would try again this year, even if it was again just a virtual European meeting place - without any delicacies of food and drink on offer. So the program and the performance options will be fine-tuned right up to the end - in the hope that we, after all, can convince some fellow citizens of this festival of international understanding.

On a Facebook page set up especially for this purpose [I deleted it in February 2022 because the effort was disproportionate to the benefit] we want to convince interested parties as well as die-hard Meeting Point Europe fans of the diversity of this Heilbronn peace festival. There you will also find some recipes that you can cook yourself on Saturday, May 8, 2021 and enjoy during the virtual meeting point Europe. If you also have your own favorite drink in stock, you shouldn't be missing anything!

However, it would be nice if a few Heilbronn municipal councils could bring themselves to do so and ensure that the European meeting place still has a future in Heilbronn. With all understanding for the fact that the municipal councils generally find it very difficult to stand up for fellow citizens of Heilbronn who are either not allowed to vote or don't go to vote at all, it would at least be a human gesture to also look after or stand up for those who do not belong to their own clientele.

And if you are a "normal" citizen who would like to support Meeting Point Europe, you are welcome to share the relevant flyer or, even better, come to the virtual Meeting Point Europe yourself.

"Only in the generous cooperation of the European peoples can the ground be created on which a new construction will be possible."
