At the end of the European ball, my better half sat, Franz Schirm and I still hang out with the dance band Happyness Voice Andrew Cranen around together, it was already a little after 1 o'clock in the morning to end this year's ball. As is well known, after a ball is before a ball and so the first details for the European Ball, which will most likely take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, have already been discussed.
This should now clarify the question of when to start preparing for a dance ball. The switch from European Ball at the Brenner Dance School 2022 now for Europa Ball 2024 in harmony was a huge challenge, it challenged my better half and me a little more than originally expected, but it can certainly be described as successful.
It was very pleasing that dance enthusiasts from Heilbronn and guests from near and far seized the opportunity and danced until the end; An almost 400 square meter dance floor offered the best opportunity for this. It wasn't just from the stage that one could truly enjoy the sight of the dancing couples making extensive use of the area beneath their feet. Unfortunately, a ball where people can really dance is a rarity these days.
The sight of the younger artists when they were confronted with such a large area for the first time was also remarkable. At the Meeting Point Europe we were happy with the 100 square meter stage, but now the individual dance groups could actually really develop. But individual dance couples also performed at their best, and I was amazed - even though I myself have some dance experience of my own.
Each of the dance groups that performed was a pleasure in itself, and the respective dance group leaders must be very satisfied with their performances. It was definitely the ball audience!
And the supporting program of the Europa Ball, which had the motto “Culture meets Politics”, can also be viewed as successful. I was very pleased that one or two local councilors jumped over their own shadow and took part. Our local councils in particular should recognize what is necessary and good for “their” city; That's why we can now hope here too. Evil tongues claim that this is only due to the upcoming local council elections - it is now up to our local councilors to convince them otherwise next year!
Such a ball is a challenge even for the organizers on the day of the event. My better half and I were there at 12 p.m. and only left Harmonie after a good 14 hours. This is all voluntary work and so we are always happy when other volunteers get involved. This time I have to be next to it Franz Schirm specifically Natalie Krayl Mention, both of whom come from the Treffpunkt Europa times and have clearly not forgotten how to work.
As already mentioned, our partner clubs were all great again, but I have to particularly take my hat off to them Marion Amann, the boss of Kunst07, because working with her is a pure pleasure!
And on the part of the great Harmonie hall team, of which I also include Voltino, with whom I really enjoyed working, I would particularly like the Voltino team leader Lisa Slunitschek .
As already written, after a ball is before a ball and so I'm now excited to see what awaits me at the European Ball 2025.
