Over the decades, a very close cooperation and a friendly relationship developed with our Heilbronn Italians of the Coro del Grappa. Ten years ago, on my 50th birthday, I sang the Coro del Grappa, reinforced by an opera singer, and even brought tears to the eyes of friends who had traveled from Italy.

Opening

I like to think back to the vernissages I was able to organize for friends or well-known artists. And so last year I came up with the idea of ​​creating my own exhibition from the posters of the European competition, which once adorned the “European Corridor” in Stuttgart years ago.

And when the employees of the Europa Zentrum Baden-Württemberg were also enthusiastic about the idea, I was able to book the first exhibition of the posters for the European competition for Heilbronn. I was very happy that Andreas Incze from the Heilbronn City Library recognized the potential of such an exhibition and offered the EUROPA-UNION Heilbronn a cooperation.

As a result, since yesterday we can now show a selection of the posters from the European competition from the last 70 years of competition history in the Heilbronn City Library until May 28, 2022. And once the Heilbronn City Library has been expanded, we'll see that we can present it again and then in its entirety.

Preparing such an exhibition, transporting it to Heilbronn, setting it up and finally bringing it back to Stuttgart would not be possible without the many volunteers.

So I would like to thank the transport team Bettina Kummerle, Roland Baier and Franz Schirm, which is still with you for the return transport Oliver Durst, Thomas Heiligenmann and Herbert Steudel will be strengthened.
