Elections

Slowly but surely those who want to be elected again are waking up. Those who have wanted to return to the feeding troughs for a long time are already announcing everything as much as possible and with increasing intensity; A post worth reading about this from Stefan Rose. And here too we are suddenly seeing open letters circulating, which are funny, especially from those who have long had nothing to do with our city other than a lucrative local council mandate.

Others, on the other hand, who fear that they will fail again at the 5% hurdle, obtain the most lucrative civil service positions illegitimately and, at least in the past, illegally, or at least they find work in state-affiliated companies; probably the only reason why we still have companies like this.

Our democracy also has a huge problem. And you can also name: our government and opposition leaders, those professional politicians who, if you look closer, are not much better than one Victor Orban are.

At least in our local council we could make improvements, but we won't. Conclusion: every democrat gets the representatives he deserves!

miscellany

The Union is currently fighting for its sinecure together with the Left, the firewalls are falling so quickly. You just have to warn many MPs that their bread baskets could soon hang a little higher. It's pleasing that my gripes in this area slowly but surely becoming mainstream.

And this probably also applies to the unacceptable condition of our city center. Retailers are now also calling on the city administration to take action - some will always need a little longer, but for many it will now be too late. My pity is therefore limited. As an ordinary citizen, I have been trying to intervene for years, to no avail. Like alcoholics, most people probably need to be in the trickle before they start thinking about changing.

My better half and I were finally able to dance again yesterday. And we were already asked why there is actually no coverage of the Europa Ball. On the one hand, I'm happy, but on the other hand, I'm tired of constantly defending the complete incompetence of many of my contemporaries. Our “daily newspaper” simply has its own priorities and you just have to accept that. It's just stupid for us citizens that they have the monopoly in Heilbronn. Of course, the more important people in Heilbronn see it completely differently - and that's what matters!

It's amusing that it was also announced yesterday that there is hardly an AfD MP left who is not under investigation. Completely free Adolf Hitler: with us even the criminals have their own party.

postprocessing

In contrast to my youngest intern, “my” students lacked preparation yesterday. Over a cup of coffee - the machine worked in the end - it was pointed out to me that these days, second semester students haven't fully come to grips with reality: Hotel Mama sends its regards. In any case, I could see from some students that they are at least making an effort to fully understand their self-selected course of study.

Well-intentioned does not mean well-done. That's why some students should take note when the lecturer comments that their current level of performance is not yet sufficient to get through the finish line - but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
