And since I was already doing some crafting, I also rearranged the galleries here in the blog. Most of them are still not publicly accessible and are not directly linked.
This is simply because the photos stored there are of no real interest to any reader other than me and I have saved them as a kind of stock photos for future blog posts.

Since dancing just isn't working out at the moment, there was once again a very exciting game evening with Rummikub. Then some chess and a little research on a gadget I saw at the meeting today. I actually don't need it anymore, as the days of lots of lectures and even more meetings are long behind me, but then I get excited again about what I could have done with such a gadget not long ago.
And so I have to be very brave now, because the really dangerous thing about gadgets like this is that you actually don't need them but you just want to have them. And so I'm now taking a closer look to see whether this new potential toy also meets my criteria for "longevity". In any case, it's so small that it wouldn't take up too much space like my last purchase.

Today the Free Voters were out and about in Reutlingen because the regional association had called. It was a regular meeting of the Free Voters, who come from the larger cities in Baden-Württemberg. In addition to the campaign concept, a common corporate identity and the somewhat annoying confrontation with the “Free Voters” party and other splits, the Free Voters were able to exchange ideas about the challenges of cities with more than 100 inhabitants.
What was actually not surprising was that the challenges in the cities are at least similar. Whether these then become real problems clearly depends on the quality of the respective administrations and the majorities in the local councils. All participants agreed that it would be better to keep the diverse party interests out of the local councils. And for this we need strong local Free Voters factions in Baden-Württemberg.
Back in Heilbronn, I immediately began to implement a promise to the regional association Free Voters website to adapt something to the layout of the other Free Voters associations, because you have to agree with the state association that “where there is Free Voters DNA in it, it would be better to say Free Voters on it”. Now I'm curious to see how the Heilbronn Free Voters will react to this.
