Hyperlinks

Ages ago, I not only had my own collections, but also special websites to provide the best links on the Internet for my readers and myself. I had already discussed this here on the blog in 2005 and this one Blog Post also updated repeatedly for quite a while; Finally, just to adjust the layout a little again.

Hyperlink collections are now probably the deadest thing that exists on the Internet. Some use their browsers to remember various shortcuts, others use their note boxes. I probably use both and also my blog, which isn't very practical, at least for me. As soon as it's about a specific website, my only answer is to ask the other person to google it myself or to look in my mailbox and then send an email with the corresponding link - neither of which are ideal.

That's why I'm now trying a new approach and will soon be collecting links in the forum, which has proven to be very practical for my own blogroll. In any case, it saves me from having to send a lot of emails. Then I just say: look at the forum!

Discoveries

The last few days have been full of discoveries, and I've barely had the opportunity to even look at a book. Many of these discoveries really amazed me, e.g. B. how someone without any personal experience wants to pass on experience at all. This is probably only possible for those whose commitment is only exceeded by the level of their own intelligence quotient. The initiative to pass on education without one's own education is also exciting - although this could actually be successful if supported by the necessary didactics. Which once again fits into the millennia-old question of the extent to which our education and school system can still be brought into harmony with today's world.

Matching this is a “Edublog parade“ from the teacher bubble. I was briefly tempted to answer that, but then I immediately realized that it doesn't help at all if you only focus on yourself and your own “bubble”. Sometimes it would be much better if you at least tried to think outside the box. Which makes me ask once again whether it is better to promote generalists or specialists and, if there is no answer to this question, what is the best relationship between the two.

And at the same time I was able to complete my lecture preparation for tomorrow. I'm already excited to see how many students will be present tomorrow and who other than me has prepared for the lecture. In any case, there is something to discover again, and this is entirely true Socrates'.

Monday

A completely normal Monday has started. Why or when Installation I have probably already written on the blog that there are no worse days than any other. And so today I was happy to read in my timeline: “Thank God it's Monday!” — a positive modification of a movie from 1978. A side note: there has been a restaurant chain in this regard since 1965, whose TGIF restaurants I enjoyed visiting. The current and expected death of restaurants in our city makes it unlikely that we will be able to count on a TGIF restaurant in our area any time soon.

But back to today's Monday, which began as usual with a meseno bus ride. Even though it was almost an empty trip again, we were still able to fill the social store a little. By the way, meseno is celebrating with one on Friday, April 19, 2024 Benefit concert “Under the Pyramid” its fiftieth anniversary. The Open Doors are responsible for the music and this shows me once again how small the world actually is, because one of the singers is Raphael Burkhardt, with whom I always enjoy running the Free Voters beer bar.

If you don't want to miss out on this musical experience and do good at the same time - the proceeds go to meseno and help, among other things, to fill the meseno social store with goods - you can buy this Monday for this Friday in April Cards.

No matter whether Monday or Friday, it always depends on your own mindset! Our mentality determines not only our days, but our entire world.

[My “five cents” on a somewhat longer and very profound conversation from last night.]

  • The topic of teacher heroes is not just a bubble. Everyone can tell something about that. This isn't about the internals of the profession, but rather anecdotal information. You definitely don't have to be a teacher to do this
