Standstill
There is no question that we love standing still, and anyone who continues to promise us this is our man, whether mayor or federal chancellor. The merry-go-round of missed opportunities keeps turning and slowly but surely leads us to the limit where we can no longer get any further with a loss of reality.
Not only that wool house is crumbling so nicely, now it's crumbling at every corner. There is no lack of parties and celebrations alone, because we don't skimp on that.
Soon, however, a time will dawn for all of us that will open the eyes of most of us, as the Americans slowly but surely reflect on their own interests and challenges and Europe, and above all Germany as the most populous country, in duty will take.
If we only want to have a tiny chance of asserting ourselves in the "new reality", then we need people's representatives who face it and have ideas and concepts on how we can shape our world. Politicians who only sit on talk shows and are otherwise looking for part-time jobs, or just admiring themselves, will soon throw us over the abyss.

If we can do something, then it is not only to teach others, but also to burden and demand everything possible from them. For example, people outside of Germany should no longer destroy forests, kill wild animals and refrain from anything that can only be remotely harmful to the environment.
On the other hand, we haven't had any real forests for a long time and where they are planted, they are immediately sacrificed for our relaxation and fun. It is only the wild animals that are even worse, they are immediately "taken" back from nature as problem animals.
And as far as the further destruction of the environment is concerned, this is due to exports, so it is completely opportune. So our coal-fired power plants and new gas-fired power plants for export will continue to steam for as long as possible, the soil and water will also be sacrificed for export. And we willingly sacrifice even our own health on the altar of the “world export champion”. Maybe a little less of our luxuries would actually be a little more for all of us. And maybe it would be better if we put our own house in order before telling others what to do and what not to do.
House of Literature
In addition to the gradual expansion of our municipal library, we now have our own House of Literature. Do we see this positively as a supplement to the library and part of an overall concept which, as previously announced, is based on the conception of the New York Public Library aligns.
What shouldn't happen is that the "better off" or those who feel like that make a pilgrimage to the Literaturhaus and everyone else has to put up with the city library, whatever the level of expansion.
It would be better if competencies were bundled in order to be able to achieve one's goals more efficiently and effectively. Every responsible person who manages with taxpayers' money should have this claim.
