lecture

At least I enjoyed today's lecture - not only the conversation with the lecture accompanying the lecture Detlef Stern — and there will be another one next week. I turn the last three lectures into a kind of practice session because it is important to me that as many students as possible pass the exam. The fundamental problem with project management is that you have to understand it and cannot memorize it. Anyone who just funnels the material into themselves is committing a gamble and won nothing even if they passed the exam.

Originally, project management — a scientific approach to accepting and overcoming challenges — was not a subject at all, but a prerequisite for study.

dismantling

When I first heard this word accompanied by the “blossoming landscapes”, I was completely surprised by so much feigned optimism. Today, however, I have not only gotten used to this term, I have even come to like it to some extent. It also sounds a lot better than Death cleaning.

The last few days I've had some time to think about the coming years. And so I have decided not only not to neglect my minimalism project too much, but also to inform those around me about necessary changes. On the one hand I will continue to reduce my own websites, whereby the picture galleries will be eliminated first, and on the other hand I am looking for suitable successors or alternatives for the many websites that I run purely on a voluntary basis.

Not that I'm suddenly tired of doing voluntary work, but younger fellow citizens should also take this opportunity. In addition, a change does not make sense if the baton holder suddenly starves to death halfway. I understand that young people like to take on posts that bring fame, honor and, above all, a lot of expense allowances, but someone also has to take on those things that only cause work and costs.

Alternatively, I simply rebuild the things that don't find a successor. And who knows, maybe you won't even notice one or the other dismantling. Then I can be sure that this was just a hobby on my part. Kind of like my slip of paper, which at some point will simply find its way into digital nirvana.

Jet lag

Yesterday I still got jet lag, which was a complete surprise. The trip with the meseno bus worked out quite well. After that, only a few e-mail recipients expressed a little surprise at the corresponding sending date, because I should have waited a little longer to send it - one already said that I had been reactivated.

I actually struggled with a bit of tiredness for the rest of the day, which ultimately led to me not taking a picture of our evening group meeting. It is also not worth reporting on the Freie Wahler website without a photo. In any case, it was a very productive session and we were able to tighten further appointments, so that there is something to do again.

My suitcase waved at me from Frankfurt all day and was already in front of the door this morning. In addition, another company informed me that a new gadget I ordered weeks ago will be delivered this week, although the long-awaited gadget also arrived today; I can't say yet whether I'll be writing about this gadget in a few months or even years.

I then spent the rest of the evening preparing for today's lecture and also assured myself of Detlef Sternthat we will meet for a coffee in the course of this lecture.
