Unfortunately, the doctor and politician is probably far too little known Friedrich Wilhelm Weber who worked in the 19th century, and who can still score points with his poems today. When I found out a little more about him, I realized that after completing his medical studies, he went on a journey, quite traditionally, not only in Prussia at the time, but throughout Europe as a whole.
Unfortunately, today this tradition is only maintained by the remaining craftsmen, if at all. It would be a very good thing for everyone involved if all young European doctors went on a journey for two to three years - in addition to their own education, this would also strengthen the further integration of our European society.
Trust in God and your own strength
