Nom Nom Nom. What's the Deal With Cookie Monster's Cookies? — If you have ever wondered what the “Sesame Street” muppet is really eating, we have the answer. (last accessed on November 28.11.2023th, 17.06, XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.; by the way, my readers can read the article free of charge)

“Cookie Monster, for those of you who skipped childhood, is a classic muppet on “Sesame Street.” He is a scraggly, blue fellow with bulging eyeballs, who has for decades been singularly obsessed with chaotically chowing down on cookies.”

Detlef Stern is a real Donaldist, my obsession lies more with the monsters of Sesame Street, who have been up to their educational mischief since 1969; especially Cookie, Oscar, Elmo and Grover. Donald Duck is a bit older, as it made its first appearance in 1931 - back then in a picture book.

Even though I didn't skip my own childhood, it wasn't until my two sons that I really got to know and appreciate these nice guys from Sesame Street.

You can still find Cookie here on the blog with the relevant directive, and at some point I also complained in a post that Cookie - now completely woke and main stream - has to eat more and more vegetables.

But Donald should comply Detlef Stern originally also once been wealthy. You can still do whatever you want with the little figures, dolls and people.

Since today - it says in the linked post - I have learned that, for telegenic reasons alone, you don't even allow the Cookie Monster his beloved cookies. That would be a real challenge for our luxury food industry, namely producing cookies that would not only be suitable for our blue monster, but would also be tasty and palatable to everyone - at least the future actors on Sesame Street would welcome this.
