I'm following the discussions and suggestions with interest about the long-known shortcomings in suitable staff, especially in the case of waiters and waitresses in the catering industry. Sometimes you have to face reality, whether you like it or not.
It's funny that the first thing you propose is to lure waiters with a diploma or even a doctorate, probably in pubology. Some are already thinking about more pleasant working hours or even better pay.
However, the question immediately arises as to whether one really wants to have employees in the catering trade who only come if a maximum of a four-day week and then at self-selected working hours is required. Or even employees who are convinced that the hourly wage must be at least comparable to that of a heart surgeon.
And so it remains exciting to see how the local entrepreneurs react to these increasing challenges. I suspect that the better ones will continue to be successful.
But since there are pubs and restaurants in Heilbronn "system relevant’, there will certainly soon be other and even funnier suggestions and maybe even coercive measures.

I was very happy when I... Franz Schirm got sent pictures from the Europastammtisch. You can see that this regulars' table was also a fine thing. And I am particularly pleased that our club youth was represented there again.
And the next regulars' table is today, namely that of the free voters.
Jeffrey Johnson
Jeff Johnson I've known her for more than 30 years now. When he wasn't on the field or stationed abroad, we met as soon as I had the opportunity to be in California. In the beginning our conversations were mostly about Star Trek, later on military matters and today the children and books are the main topic.
Otherwise, we both actually live in two very different worlds. But what is amazing is that we always have something to talk about — except about politics, which we both had to learn first.
And so I already read his first work Hunted / Hunter in 2013, which I personally found to be far too gory. Today Jeff is happy to admit that he used it to process his mission in Iraq.
His second work, entitled Ethan's Tree, was released in 2015 and is nowhere near as gory.
Then, in 2018, Jeff presented his third work, which is about the fictional character brian richards turns and is entitled Fate has Nine Lives - an almost romantic love story. And I assume that he processed parts of his own youth with it.
Yesterday I found out that he is now working on a kind of science fiction novel, which I think is very fitting because I don't know anyone who at least once knew more about Star Trek than Jeff.
Anyone who has now become a little more curious and even read a book by Jeffrey P Johnson reads, his last work can still be found on Amazon, I will also tell him what the P. in his name stands for, namely for the name Per — Peter in Swedish.
