Total frustration

When it comes to our education and training system, I'm actually more than hardened. I hardly expect a young academic to have any kind of rudimentary general education or even to have a reasonable command of his own field of knowledge; It's enough if he knows something he studied at the end of his studies. And so I'm always happy when I meet younger people who are brilliant in their profession or field - that gives me hope that things could get better again.

After more than seven years as a reading mentor, I have now completely written off primary school; these can actually only be described as holding facilities for children, at least those schools that are not only reserved for students from better circles. And if a university student can follow what I'm saying - I only use very simple German and only use repetition as a rhetorical highlight - I'll be really happy. And so no one can claim that I have any excessive demands on our education system.

Today I was able to give math tutoring to eighth-grade secondary school students. Fractions and dividing whole numbers were on the agenda. We left the fraction calculations alone and the division failed because of the small multiplication table. The bad thing is that we drilled the multiplication tables into the boys' heads when they were still in primary school, so much so that they actually knew how to do it, at least in the fourth grade. What's worse is that most of these boys, I've known them for quite a long time, are at least opposite to me, but no longer show any desire to achieve anything themselves - except perhaps in a Mercedes up the avenue and drive down.

I don't blame the boys. It is their parents who should be punished every day for their misdeeds instead of constantly sweetening their lives with social assistance and childcare programs! And it is our culture and social ministers of the last decades who should all be held accountable as quickly as possible - no criminal has caused greater damage to our country than these ladies and gentlemen!

Taurus

It's slowly getting more and more exciting. Germany and Sweden once developed their own cruise missile and actually produced a good 900 of them. In the end, the Swedes didn't buy any of them, South Korea bought less than 300 and Spain got almost 50.

All in all, it's a homeopathic amount for a weapon and so you can safely assume that even if this weapon works, the whole thing is just another huge waste of taxpayer money - and once again a few very specific people have made stupid and stupid decisions.

Apparently we Germans still have 150 functioning missiles, the rest are probably waiting for them to be decommissioned again for even more expensive tax money - this is how the German planned economy has been working quite well for a long time.

Now you might think that if someone actually wants these cruise missiles - I suspect out of sheer desperation - they would give them to Ukraine. Wrong thinking, because we refuse to do this. In doing so, we continue to support the Russian Federation in its attempt to achieve world domination and still see ourselves as a kind of junior partner (GDR 2.0, so to speak). Or we know full well that these cruise missiles are as good as many of our other weapon systems, which we develop, buy and ultimately scrap at great expense, and we just want to continue to protect our magnificent planned economy.

But it could also be that our military strategists believe that 150 cruise missiles are completely sufficient to defend our country and also assume that a few functional and completely antiquated aircraft are enough to be able to use these missiles.

I actually don't have time for this, but I always manage to treat myself to a few minutes. And how from Detlef Stern When observed correctly, errors creep in. Multitasking only really works when you are in the full bloom of your creativity.

One of these mistakes was that the webbing rings were suddenly missing while we were doing crafts today, but after a few seconds of thinking about it, this turned out to be an advantage. And I still have problems with Fediverse, but at the moment it's more with those Mastodon users who hang out there, like to lecture others and don't understand that Mastodon is a Fediverse instance. And as soon as one of my blog posts intentionally and correctly reaches Mastodon, you get excited about it.

After being schooled several times in the last few days, I spontaneously installed a new plugin, for example at the point where the web rings were recently linked. Now you can not only school me via Mastodon and other social media channels, but also buy me a coffee “digitally” again; This should even be possible from the South Pole. So I'm curious to see where I can get a coffee from.

But what I like best are those fellow citizens who like me Detlef Stern invite you for coffee and then casually offer your criticism. Of course, you can also buy me a coffee - in real life or virtually - if you enjoy my blog.

Regardless, I really like the coffee button and it also ensures that I have another link to my weblog. This may also be of interest to those bloggers who are always thinking about how they can get the highest quality external links possible.
