time-out

And it actually worked, I was able to treat myself to a little break. Detlef Stern had chosen a nice Italian restaurant in the city center and we got from the hundredth to the thousandth. Starting with shared students - lecturers also exchange ideas with each other - we got to the Zettelkasten very quickly and still staying on the same topic. After that, things continued quickly: Indieweb, Fediverse, Webmention, Delta Chat, then blogs, websites and servers, whether virtual or completely classic. Finally, we ended up with Heilbronn's digital setup and whether it wouldn't be better if some contemporaries didn't stick to paper. Quite appropriately, the city administration then bombarded me with some advertising emails and my time off was over again.

I will visit the Italian restaurant with my better half soon and then see if it finds its way into my list.

Ascension squad

By 1945 at the latest, it was clear to all politically informed people that no one in Europe would be able to avoid European unification. Yourself one Charles de Gaulle or a Winston Churchill had recognized this, but threw sand in the works right from the start, just so that they could continue to hold on to their desire to become a national power. And as soon as Konrad Adenauer Once the Federal Republic was recognized as a “partner country”, we Germans immediately began to dream of a Greater Germany again - now somewhat disguised as world champions in everything, from education to exports to football. The fact that we are not is now slowly becoming clear to even the very last backwoodsman - but it should also be clear to them that even anti-democrats from the AfD or the Left cannot change this!

Meanwhile, even the smallest countries in Europe that can no longer exist independently, such as Hungary, are convinced that they too are the center of the world. Their politicians lie to their own clientele to the letter.

Meanwhile, Europe continues to unrestrainedly squander all of the unification dividends and destroy whatever resources it still has - at the expense of the environment and future generations.

Old white men and an old woman in Brussels are themselves amazed and proud that this European “pyramid scheme” has lasted to this day and continue to try to get away with hollow promises until their own demise.

They all know better, but they mislead their fellow citizens into believing that European unification works even without unification! — Churchill and De Gaulle continue to send their regards!

Europe simply cannot exist without being a federal state, the loans taken out around the world for this purpose have long since been used up and the power of fact can no longer be stopped - further expansion will, indeed must, come and everyone who is halfway informed knows very well that this system will exist without it Deepening will burst!

Meanwhile, our rulers are sending us all on a suicide mission in that they are now trying to prevent essential expansion by delaying deepening even further, erecting senseless borders and increasingly restricting our human rights.

And this solely because they are like they used to be Charles de Gaulle or Winston Churchill want to secure their own benefice for as long as possible. Our parliaments across Europe (!) are called upon to end this suicide mission as quickly as possible, before there are no more voters who can or want to vote for them.

The European federal state must be created by our parliamentarians, even at the risk that many of them will then be unemployed! By the way, this is called political responsibility.

Anyone who still talks today about simple, qualified or double majorities that are supposed to save Europe, or even about the fact that Germany and France could form a Super Europe for themselves, is nothing other than a charlatan!

Plappert

I recently discovered with regret that the chatter on the avenue will stop at the end of the year. According to a note on the shop window, he still maintains his branch or even headquarters (?) in Schwaigern.

It's not just in my opinion that chattering is simply part of a shopping trip through the city, but at least the displays in the shop window still make strollers a little curious today. And everyone in Heilbronn probably knows the saying “Go to the Plappert” when you need to buy something at short notice - but at least everyone knows where the avenue is and so you found the drugstore pretty quickly. Personally, I was more interested in the decorative and gift items as well as the candles and scents.

There are likely to be many reasons why a long-established business suddenly stops. Now I hope it's not because we Heilbronners now tend to buy our deodorants online or even in Milan (to avoid any questions: I deliberately chose this city).

  • It's a shame about another institution in Heilbronn. You could get not only cosmetics but also practical chemistry here.
