Sunshine

The Free Voters immediately took advantage of the good weather to take a few photos of their candidates in front of the town hall. A pleasing number of candidates came together, not all of them, which is not to be expected. What was even more pleasing was that other Free Voters came along, just to be there and thus signal their support for our election campaign.

And once again you could see how small the world actually is. The photo session also developed into an exchange about the latest urban developments such as the new Neckar stairs, although the majority of Free Voters would have preferred that the money be used for more important projects first, such as: B. Sports and soccer fields in the city center or the urgently needed expansion of the dam schools, preferably with their own school swimming pool.

It's also interesting to find out how the local council is thwarted by the city administration when the ruler in the town hall doesn't like it again; They then simply declare themselves not competent enough and the decision is therefore not implemented. And incompetence is not a shortcoming at all in the Heilbronn town hall, because it not only protects you from work, but also from being held accountable for your own incompetence.

potatoes

Free Voters are not a party and therefore do not have party-like structures, which is something you should definitely take into account when campaigning for the Free Voters. Things get a little difficult if you come from a party organization yourself, because then it's obviously quite difficult to switch.

And that's what I've been experiencing far too often lately: in the potatoes, out of the potatoes. The problem is that Free Voters are real volunteers and have to be won over again and again for every campaign. It is doubtful whether you can achieve this by reinventing the wheel every day and coming up with even newer ideas.

So I'm excited to see how the last few days leading up to the local council election will develop. It looks like the next chairman will no longer have any interest in local politics. In any case, it is once again proof that professionalization is absolutely the wrong approach, especially in local politics, especially when professionalization has to do without professionals.

The beautiful and wonderful thing about the Free Voters is that they don't need mandates to live and survive. They offer the citizens their cooperation and if they would rather have slapstick and colonic irrigation, then so be it. Free voters can also keep themselves busy in other ways. My candidacy and my cooperation are an offer - nothing more, but also nothing less!

warning sign

The ominous information has recently increased enormously here, not only in Heilbronn, where the local council and city administration have completely run down the urban infrastructure and are only relying on that Dieter schwarz buying up one street after another, probably in the hope that he would then also take over the city's tasks.

No, the sell-out of our country is now being publicly announced nationwide. The Bundeswehr has been sold the most expensive junk in the world and is now surprised that it is probably not even capable of bringing the Federal Government and the Bundestag, including its administrations, to safety in the USA.

So it is no longer surprising that Karl Lauterbach now wants to prepare the healthcare system for wars, which, by the way, is without any ifs and buts the minimum standard of any state healthcare system - just not here! But he probably just means that the Bundeswehr must now ensure that the federal government and the Bundestag receive medical care even in a war until the Americans save Europe again.

But back to Heilbronn, because yesterday the school management of the Damm primary school confirmed in a conversation on the stairs that the sports hall was a horror - which my grandmother already knew (!) - and that the sports field had been abolished without replacement in favor of the BUGA; Which, by the way, reflects the focus of our Heilbronn local council quite well: party instead of education, intoxication instead of the future!

If you interpret the signs of at least the last two years correctly, then we shouldn't have to worry about IPAI or Stuttgart 21 anymore - just imagine Putin sending his congratulations with a Russian Iskander at the opening of the new main train station and after more than 20 years of construction, a huge hole remains.

Rather, we should think about how we can get our country back on its feet as quickly as possible, together with our allies, so that the Ukraine war doesn't soon spill over into us with weapons. Because if this happens, then we will not have conditions like 1945, but immediately conditions like those in the Thirty Years' War.

And so I hope that a politician like... Karl Lauterbach will not, like his predecessors in office, only think about himself and his own pockets, but will actually try to do justice to the tasks of a representative of the people. By the way, what I also wish for our own local councils!
