Four candles
At the end of the article a poem by Elli Michler, which should give us all a little more hope and confidence and also give our representatives the courage to do the right thing, or at least what is necessary. Even if they themselves are no longer elected, it will help us all and also strengthen our democracy. Others, namely the totalitarians, are much better at making promises.

A candle for the peace we need,

I had this beautiful poem by mistake Rainer Maria Rilke attributed. Today I was from Barbara Michler pointed out that it is actually from Elli Michler comes from. It is still in her book of poems “I wish you time - The most beautiful poems” by Elli Michler a DAK Bungalow.

But if an SS man was clever and tricked, deceived and lied for his own benefit, then he was a good Nazi - an honorable citizen who we will commemorate with pictures, monuments or street names for all eternity.

Slowly but surely we are all getting the receipt for the fact that we will leave Germany starting with at the latest Helmut Kohl have run down. And to make the whole misery even worse, we have simultaneously increased the transfer payments immeasurably. We have developed our own system for this purpose: the more money a citizen already has, the more transfer payments they can receive (e.g. for luxury cars or homes).
Only the so-called middle class, because it was neither in the focus of the SPD nor the Union parties, the FDP or the Greens, was excessively fleeced so that the disintegration of our country could be delayed for as long as possible. But now, as one global challenge after another reaches our country and we are unprepared for anything, this “after-me-the-flood” policy is collapsing.
No party - and especially not the anti-democratic ones (!) - are still in a position to take countermeasures and slowly but surely lead our country back into calmer waters. The Union, which is clearly largely to blame for the whole mess, continues to shirk its responsibility (most recently the interview with Markus Söder in Berlin directly) and is only making the whole thing worse through purely populist politics à la the AfD and the Left.
The government parties continue to refuse to change the transfer payments or quickly withdraw such attempts - perhaps with the exception of those who help the poorest citizens - and are now trying to create a transfer state through hidden tax increases, additional debts and completely new taxes to keep it alive for a while, just to avoid falling out of favor with the voters!
Due to the decay alone, at least absolutely unavoidable repairs must actually be addressed, everything else is postponed until the next day, with defense capability continuing to be scaled back because almost all of us citizens believe that, if necessary, the Americans will act as us will take in refugees or are already waiting for the Soviets.
Some citizens are already wondering what could come faster, a German dictatorship or the occupation of our country by the Russians? But as long as Russian tanks don't cross the Oder or Germany is brought into line, we refuse to even consider such scenarios.
As already written, as long as most of us believe that it is enough to die, Germany will continue to be driven to the wall with momentum.
