Verdict

The youngest Judgment of the Federal Constitutional Court is causing real waves, with the Union having the audacity to allow itself to be celebrated for the government's failure in this regard, instead of coming around the corner itself with constructive proposals. Currently, German politics can only be summarized as “that your political opponent is much, much worse, more immoral and more corrupt than you.”

And since the Union, SPD and Greens have had the same policy for a long time, the solution to the 60 billion that is now officially missing will be very simple. Firstly, the diets will be increased and parliaments will be further enlarged, secondly, deserving party register holders will be made civil servants and the administrations will be further bloated accordingly, thirdly, taxes will be increased and, finally, the overexploitation of the Bundeswehr and the infrastructure will continue. The 60 billion euros must be brought to the electorate and especially distributed among our own clientele - a promise is a promise!

But there are also other ideas and perhaps even practical solutions. Jurgen Hacker writes about this in a LinkedIn post entitled “BVG ruling and climate protection effect“ (16.11.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX) that “that The Federal Constitutional Court's ruling on the debt brake ... is an opportunity for the long overdue restructuring of German climate protection policy."

But federal politics has been interested in problem solutions ever since Helmut Kohl no longer!

Tango Argentino

Since yesterday I've been learning another ballroom dance; after all these years my better half has made it. But it could just be that I've simply run out of excuses. And admittedly it does Klaus Brenner He does a pretty good job here too.

In contrast to the “standard” tango of the world dance program known to us, the more original form of the dance and the associated music is called Tango Argentino worldwide; except in Argentina, the country of origin, where people continue to simply refer to it as tango.

Now I'm excited to see how the whole thing develops and whether I'll be able to distinguish between the two variants in the future.

To whet your appetite for tango, I'm linking it here a video about Oscar Brusco and Nina Chudoba, who have been dancing tango together since the 1940s - dancing simply keeps you young!

And while I'm at it, here's another video:

First Face

Even though I didn't decide to attend a performance of “Prima Facie” at the Heilbronn Theater, I have recently been receiving very good reviews about this drama. The one-person piece by suzie miller, which first premiered in Sydney on May 17, 2019, was highly praised from the start. But I really don't feel like drama at the moment, which is why I'm staying away. Since this year, the play has also been available as a novel; suzie miller has revised the drama accordingly.

The Heilbronn actress Sarah Finkel According to the reports I have received, he brings the play to the stage of the Great House very well and is not particularly shaken by surprising events in the audience. Anne Rabe translated the drama into German and Elias Perrig directs in Heilbronn.

If you would like to find out more about the Heilbronn performance, you can find it more information here.

  • Well observed. The German interpretation of many musical styles usually ends - and not just with the daring men - in transformations that are all too march-like 🙂
