Montages can also be very satisfying, I've never had any problems with them myself as I've already prepared them on Saturdays or Sundays. However, if you arrive at work on Monday without knowing anything, unexpected events can certainly occur - perhaps exactly the reason why Mondays are less popular.

But the nicest are those Mondays when, despite years of distance, you call someone, they recognize you and you get immediate support — today is just such a Monday! If this week gets even better, then it's almost unbearable.

Rin into the potatoes

"In the potatoes, out of the potatoes!" — a 19th-century military idiom mocking incompetence that is now a household term among us. You don't have to be surprised if you follow the crisis management of our politics: masks up, masks down! — the only round of demands that our fair-weather politicians are capable of.

But one thing is certain, in view of the upcoming federal elections, all restaurants and hotels will be opened, and all vacation spots will be released, at least until everyone willing to vote has cast their vote. And should the Indian variant spread among us in the meantime, the administrations will certainly be urged to ensure creative list keeping, and if that should not be sufficient, there will surely be an expert who will explain that even a seven-day incidence of 150 is no Reason is to close pubs.

It is also certain that nothing will change after the 2021 federal elections, neither in politics nor in our challenges. Challenges must first become unsolvable problems for us in order to make us realize in the face of an inevitable catastrophe that sitting out is not a solution.

Rummikub

Rummikub is a another game, which has fascinated our family for years and has completely replaced rummy, whether German rummy or canasta. Even pinochle, which we used to play across families, no longer plays a role today. But that can also be because not only is the world changing, but new generations simply prefer other games.

So it's amazing how long chess has been able to survive worldwide. Although I've gotten used to constantly losing to a computer, my better half hasn't left the board as the second winner in all these decades - this is how the "fights" with Rummikub will be fought tonight.
