BUGA bridge

As of today, the direct route between the Neckarbogen and the Bahnhofsvorstadt is clear; Pedestrians and cyclists can use the BUGA or Blitzbrücke, the latter probably using an elevator. The total costs are still not foreseeable, but it is already known that most of us will live to see the successor bridge. For the current price you could easily have built a new school or even a bridge that connects the train tracks. But it would have been better if the Paula-Fuchs-Allee had been completed or even the Neue Kranenstrasse had been built into the Neckarbogen.

As soon as you stand on the new BUGA bridge, you can enjoy the expectedly good view over the city, where you can see its great development potential. Unfortunately, you can now see quite clearly how we have crippled our main station in recent years. This also makes me wonder why we stick to the station building at all, as seen from the bridge it has, at best, a barracks feel.

And so it's a good thing that we only purchased a bridge that was dilapidated from the start for a good 20 million euros, because as soon as the railways expand our main station into a fully-fledged station again, the BUGA bridge will certainly have to make way for a suitable new building.

And this knowledge gives our new bridge the charm of the Kölle Bridge right from the start, which would certainly have looked nice if it had also been built with tax money.

The station building is on the left in the picture.

fall of man

If you follow the daily news, it becomes more and more apparent that the Union parties after 1933 - then known as the Center and the Bavarian Party and quickly given a Christian cloak in 1945 - are committing the fall from grace again and helping the National Socialists regain power . Today, for example, B. the CDU MP Christoph Ploß and Hamburg CDU state chairwoman openly expressed her openness to this in a guest article for the magazine “Stern”. to grant the AfD a deputy position in the presidium of the Bundestag.

So no longer just “constructive cooperation” as in some of the new federal states, but now also full democratic legitimacy in Germany’s highest parliament.

Meanwhile, the CDU federal chairman is indulging Friedrich Merz quite blatantly in order to get at least a ministerial office in an AfD-led transitional government.

Democracies always die from within, namely because of the completely selfish pursuit of profit and power of their own representatives.

Tip: As responsible opposition parties, you could also bring constructive suggestions to parliament and seek cooperation with the government parties in order to jointly solve the current, real and huge problems in our country.

Afterwards you can fight over the feeding troughs and honey pots again and worry about your own livelihood.

Stammtische

Both regular meetings over the last few days were under the impression of Hamas terror, which has now reached as far as Heilbronn and is motivating its followers to commit their first atrocities. The sadness for the victims predominated.

But that's not enough and we have to think about other things, e.g. B. about how far these people from Heilbronn will go. In fact, I fear that these people will not shy away from behaving like they do throughout the Levant.

And we are in no way prepared for that. We still believe that it is sufficient if we ensure these people a completely carefree life through transfer payments. Which is already causing young people who have never really arrived in Germany to organize deadly street races out of sheer boredom or to throw garbage at their feet.

  • That one already in the 19th century. The building used by Kolping still bears witness to the fact that he was able to build functional and beautiful train stations. When it comes to quality, timely and cost-effective execution, one also thinks of large infrastructure projects such as postal roads or three-phase power transmission... Should we want the king back?
