emergency call day
Was there something else? Exactly, 11/2 has been emergency call day for a few years. The 112 was introduced in 1991 and is now valid not only in the European Union but also in many other countries, such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Andorra, Vatican City, Monaco, India, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Norway, East Timor, Russian Federation , Serbia, Sierra Leone, South Africa (mobile), South Korea, Turkey and Ukraine.
This means that 112 has developed into one of the emergency numbers used worldwide, alongside 911 in the United States.
Rundschreiben
In addition to all the tinkering, I was able to publish the EUROPA-UNION circular yesterday, something out of the ordinary, but which was necessary due to the many changes in dates.
If you haven't read it yet, you can right here repeat. There are a few interesting dates, so I'm looking forward to many registrations.
Weblog
First of all, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience I caused yesterday to weblog subscribers, whether via email or RSS. Actually, I just wanted to quickly change a small thing, and it was done, not only the layout had said goodbye, but also the database, which is necessary for the weblog, started to complain. My tools, apps and other aids are really tough; yesterday it was a bit too much of a good thing.
So I hope that I can get the whole thing under control again in the coming days. And if you don't just follow the links in the e-mail or read along via RSS, you will already be able to see today that the weblog — once again — has taken on a new form. Now I'm looking forward to the comments on it.
