Eternal life

Without wanting to offend my own belief, one must ask oneself what eternal life could actually be about.

This is mentioned over thirty times in the New Testament. Just imagine this literally and think about how, after your own death, you will be resurrected again and probably in a slightly different form and then in heaven for all eternity - which may actually be a lot more than infinity A place that has not yet been completely determined today - at least together with our Creator and probably also with those people who we couldn't stand during our lifetime, because the fact that they are all in hell is very, very unlikely .

Be that as it may, even in the best case scenario - I certainly don't want to threaten with thirty virgins - it is still not entirely clear what you do throughout the day, apart from perhaps sleeping in. And no matter what, this will probably no longer be so exciting after a few hundred thousand years at the latest. Unless you are one of the most extroverted people ever and look forward to hearing other people's life stories told to you every day. But at some point this too will become torture - and even force Sisyphus to smile.

And so it is more likely that as a believer and probably also as a non-believer - who can say - after your own death you will merge again into something larger and whole, whereby your (own) eternal life will be lost simply in view of the large number of people and perhaps all other creatures will be very relative, almost to the point of marginalization.

So perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad idea to understand eternal life as more of a fulfilling life - my own knowledge of religion is more than inadequate in this regard, but I suspect that this could well be a generally accepted interpretation.

But this doesn't make the whole matter any easier, because what do you mean by a fulfilled life? Everyone has to decide this for themselves at the end of their own life. And some of us also do this with our very own God.

But one thing is certain: for most of us, this cash collapse will happen much faster than we would like.

And in this case I have two good pieces of advice: firstly, live correctly, then once is enough, and secondly, live in such a way that the very people who mean the most to you will regret and mourn their passing, and perhaps you even be fondly remembered until the end of your own life.

The greatest appreciation will probably be if these people also use you as a role model and have learned something from you - because that means you can actually live forever.
