If you work in clubs, then it is inevitable that you have to deal with administrations, banks and insurance companies. This is probably the main reason why fewer and fewer people want to get involved in clubs.
In the last two days I had two phone calls of a very special kind. My better half, as a proven specialist, just shook his head. And the necessary electronic correspondence with the board members concerned made me act as a mediator this time - the others were clearly more shocked by what happened than I was.
It is a truism that every administration, without exception, becomes a madhouse from a certain size. That's why you can't take the whole thing personally and you just have to keep finding ways to get out of the current misery.
Starting next week, we will tackle the current problem in groups of three and personally on site — what you do as a volunteer: entertaining completely bored office guys or mares.
Then we go for a drink, because we have now garnished the whole thing with a bet and whoever loses it pays for the evening.
