Air Tag
On one of my last visits to the Apple Shop, I took a couple of AirTags with me. And since I'm working on my backpack project, I've already equipped it with one.
Commissioning of Air Tag is no problem and so I later bought a couple of tags, without which the AirTags usually just lie around; now my first AirTag is firmly connected to the backpack.
After a few settings changes, my mobile phone no longer complains when I move a little further away from my backpack. A few days later my play instinct kicked in and I started looking for my backpack.
The first result is that my mobile phone does not support a closer search. I would have to buy a newer model for that, and so my cell phone, which is probably already older, only tells me that the backpack is near me.
Ok, I could play a sound now, but that doesn't help me either, because I don't hear it even if the backpack is next to me.
Bad luck twice.
And so I made my better half happy with the remaining AirTags and pendants. Now I'm curious to see if I'll ever get a response.
As already written in the blog, two AirTags actually proved their worth on the last flight. So these are now always ready to find their place in the next pieces of luggage.
And who knows, maybe there are other possible uses.

I would like to add to the minutes of the “Europe Now!” discussion group that we participants also debated how “natural” Europe has become, especially for us younger people. Many of us don't know any different. Travel without borders, pay in euros, no customs fees when shopping online, we hardly know any other way. It is important to demonstrate these freedoms in order to arouse interest in Europe.
Likewise, the majority of the group agreed that we are not afraid, but rather feel concern and uncertainty when we observe current developments.

As we were able to determine, the half-life of such rounds is not sufficient to fill a forum even remotely. Where non-binding has become a principle, you really have to think about completely new communication channels.
