In 1984, there was probably no car journey on which this song was not playing; it was particularly relaxing on the motorway. It was all 40 years ago now.
Founded in 1982 Hans-Jürgen Buchner the group Haindling. I didn't know this group until the catchy tune "Lang scho nimmer g'sehn" above, but that changed very quickly when I moved to Munich in 1984. The song is on the album "Stilles Potpourri" (1984), which was only the group's second album after "Haindling 1" from 1982.
If you are going to “remember” the group Haindling, then “Das ewige Lied” is a must. This can be found on the album “Zwischenlandung” from 1998, which made me sit up and take notice that this group still existed.
I'm currently getting several suggestions that I should take a more relaxed approach to the New Year. And this makes me think of a group that comes from the "Wild South", or more precisely from the southwest of our country, and whose dialect is more in keeping with my own origins - Kathi, nothing against Lower Bavaria!
Wolle Kriwanek has always been a cult for me. Here is his song UFO (1980)
The record “Schwabenrock” also dates from 1984 and was immediately in my discotheque. Wool Kriwaneks Aliens were definitely not Vogons — because we still exist today.
Also worth listening to is his “Badwanna Blues” (1976) or his “Reggae Di uff?” (1981).
Ok, at least for today I'll skip blogging.
“There is an obvious and entirely moral fact that a man is always a prisoner of his truths.”
