songs from Sebastian Schaffer my readers have been finding on the weblog for a while. But his latest song has now led me to write my own blog post.

The song "Silence" is about the silence in this world and the long struggle with yourself until you have found your own voice. The metaphorical text leaves room for interpretation.

After the melody of the refrain one day became in Sebastian Schaffers head lost, he sang it directly as a voice memo on his mobile phone. Untouched for months, one day he took up the melody again and put a synthesizer pad under it. The complete song was created within a very short time and Sebastian completed the song with piano, drums, strings, bass and a vocal arrangement. 

On November 18, 2022, Sebastian released his first single "poets“, accompanied by a music video that tempts you to dream. I also included this song on the weblog. His song "Poets" is about finding a place in this world as a human being and how we allow ourselves to be driven to be dissatisfied, even though we have everything — ergo, the unfulfilled longing for more, whatever this may be.

Sebastian Schaffer celebrated his first successes as a singer of the band Dream Casino. This played alternative rock. When the group members decided to go their separate ways in 2018, Sebastian began his solo career. To do this, he set up his own studio and gradually learned the individual steps of production. As a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, vocals), he writes all of his songs himself and arranges the instrumentation and vocal arrangements. 

I like his previous songs and his cover versions very much and that's why I'm doing a little advertising for this new song today.
