In the 1980s, a friend once gave me the following poem by FrankApps, and I thought it was so beautiful that I immediately stuck it in my own booklet.

The Seagull

I saw a seagull
White against the
Blue
Of sky and sea below.

He called to me
And cried, "Hello!"
And said...

“Why are you
earthbound,
friend? when you
Can soar in min
As high as I!”

"For in your sky,
Inside of you
You're limitless!"

“So be with me
and fly!”
