ministers

A much-discussed topic in the Heilbonner Voice today. That's why I would like to comment on it.

Ministers have existed for as long as administrations have existed; from the beginning they were the first servants of their "ruler" and headed the corresponding administrations. From the very beginning, they not only had to run their administrations, but also adapt the promises of the respective ruler to the existing realities, which very early on meant that the "first administrators" should master the art of squaring the circle - like all of us know, this is impossible.

In the meantime, in many countries the "rulers" are elected as the first servants of the sovereign - the people or the electorate - by this for a short period of time and practice their office, optimally only for a further electoral period and only if it proves itself have, off.

In our case, the people's representatives we elect then elect the chancellor or prime minister (MP) from among their ranks and then, as ordinary members of parliament, control the government, i.e. the chancellor or MP and the existing administrative apparatus. Its main task, however, is legislation.

From the outset, alongside the elected Chancellor or MP, there is also a Vice-Chancellor or Vice-MP enthroned by him, but this has no systemic significance. The only stipulation is membership in the cabinet, although it is completely legitimate that nowadays the deputies should at least come from the ranks of the elected representatives of the people, especially since the other cabinet positions are now also occupied by professional politicians; but even this legitimate minimum was overridden by the Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, who had been in office for far too long, by appointing a politician voted out by the sovereign as deputy, thereby confirming how power corrupts man and soul.

But it also shows how elected representatives of the people see themselves overall, in that they no longer even want to exercise the opposition or even control the government, but want to push everyone into the government apparatus if possible, or at least want to be compensated with highly paid committee chairmanships.

That is why all expert ministers in the governments have long since been replaced by other elected or unelected professional politicians pushing into office. The reason for this was that the politicians with ministerial posts should ensure that the administrations also fulfill the will of the respective chancellor or MP and his “ruling party”.

This justification alone shows what a negative image these politicians have of human nature — or even have of themselves (!) — since by doing so they deny our administrations their very own competence and reliability.

The administrations were compensated by this and also considering the fact that most political ministers are useless by providing each minister with one or two official state secretaries who take over the actual task of the respective minister. And so no political minister ever has to go to his ministry - except for press photos - because without any knowledge he cannot even exercise the control function intended by politics, which we have seen again and again for years and also read about in all the newspapers be able.

But this did not go unnoticed by our politicians either, and so they created the posts of political state secretaries, who, according to the reasoning, are supposed to be less incompetent than the political ministers and to compensate for their incompetence.

But since there has been a lack of professional and human competence here for a long time, people have started to recruit other people's representatives or even just "party soldiers" who no longer have to stand for an election, let alone be elected than ever — ergo, not a single one Have the minimum requirement — to be promoted to senior positions in our ministries.

In the meantime, the rush among our people's representatives for government posts has become so great that not only are political state secretaries reassigned to civil servant state secretaries or completely unacceptable professional politicians, at least as ambassadors without any necessary qualifications, are disposed of in government positions, but also completely new ministries are being created, such as the home ministry or the new Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Regional Development and Housing.

And since the post haggling of our people's representatives and the unspeakable supply mentality in their own right has gotten the upper hand, it is no longer necessary for a Professional politician has to be elected at all - it's already enough if he's been seen on a poster or urgently needs money.

All of this may also explain the question as to why fewer and fewer fellow citizens are joining parties or even voting. In any case, it explains the many letters to the editor, some of which could be read today in the Heilbronn voice.

"The politicians are also a kind of experts, just self-appointed."
