People are evil

In order not to have to sweep in front of my own doorstep, I will simply take the current US election campaign as proof.

Anyone who still believes that people are basically good just needs to look at the USA. There we are currently witnessing an abysmally evil person in a head-to-head race with a fairly normal competitor.

If we humans were even halfway good, there wouldn't be any head-to-head racing at all!

And if you need further proof, just take a look around your own neighborhood.

But as in so many other things, education helps here too!
