Too much heat is not only harmful to the testicles, but also to the brain. This is probably why neither was placed in the center of the human body - this assumption would of course have to be confirmed by thermodynamicists, for example.
Therefore, one can assume that there is a connection between average warmth and average intelligence - the brightest populations live in the slightly colder regions, but then again not too cold, because that obviously has a similar damaging effect to too much warmth.
Now our professional politicians can be happy again, because the increasingly poor performance of our students is due to climate change. And it is quite obvious that it is getting warmer faster in the former Eastern zone than here in the West - the election results can be taken as proof. The little brains that the two totalitarian regimes left in the local population are now burning away faster than originally feared.
And so, if we want to save the East, we would have to give the people there air conditioning rather than jobs that they don't know what to do with - the first high-tech giants are already pulling the plug and not even settling in the Eastern zone.
