Extension to the Römerhalle for SV Heilbronn. We Free voters apply for a corresponding plan to be submitted to the municipal council immediately.
7 years ago our OB Harry Mergel promised that of SV Heilbronn am Leinbach, as a joint club for Frankenbach and Neckargartach, gets a new sports field and an extension at the Römerhalle, for the elimination of the club rooms and the sports facility in Böllinger Straße.
The Free Voters group in the municipal council, together with other groups in the municipal council, have now submitted the following motion:
- The administration will present an approvable construction plan in accordance with the agreement between the city and the SV Heilbronn am Leinbach for a decision at the next but one meeting at the latest.
- The planning and implementation of the cultivation takes place immediately.
- The 3 training rooms, each with 150m² of usable space and sanitary facilities agreed in writing with the club, are built.
About 2 years ago, an implementation contract was signed between the sports club and the city. Unfortunately, so far without any tangible result. We now want to create facts and decide on an immediate treatment of the extension of the Römerhalle in the municipal council. The first reactions from the administration show us that we are on the right track.

The sports club Heilbronn am Leinbach 1891 eV is a merger of the two traditional clubs Sportvereinigung Frankenbach and VfL Neckargartach and has existed -- shaped by several mergers in the past -- since 1891.
With around 2.200 members, SV Heilbronn am Leinbach is a large club in Frankenbach and Neckargartach. At the same time, the club is one of the largest sports clubs in the Heilbronn area.
With its 11 divisions (boxing, football, handball, karate, bowling, wrestling, dance and fitness, tennis, table tennis, gymnastics, volleyball), the club offers popular, competitive and health sports right on the doorstep, starting with the little ones in the Parent-child gymnastics to sports for older people. There is also a large variety of different courses on offer.
SV Heilbronn am Leinbach is constantly expanding its offers and adapting them to current needs. New trends and traditional sports are lived and practiced equally positively at SV Heilbronn am Leinbach.
