A campaign tip

As an election campaigner, you're not only out and about talking to as many fellow citizens as possible, you also hand out a whole lot of advertising material.

In addition, you put up posters for your own party or voter group and are happy if you get the best seats for them or if your own posters are noticed by the people of Heilbronn.

Recently, not only the so-called Wesselmanns have come into fashion, but site fences as poster supports are also becoming more and more popular, and I am pleased that some competitors have taken note of this, but have sometimes provoked reactions that I do not quite understand.

Another issue is the unauthorized damage or even removal of posters. Even if our own posters are not affected much, it is still annoying when you have to keep checking whether and in what condition the posters are.

But it annoyed me a little more when I had to realize that a poster I had put up with particular care had suddenly disappeared because it was in a place I preferred and which I was also able to get hold of before my fellow campaigners.

However, I find it completely frustrating that when we were recently asked by the responsible office in our city administration to immediately remove a poster that had been hung up incorrectly, I went there and had to find out that even after several weeks of campaigning, the person responsible the city administration is obviously not aware of the difference between the Free Democratic Party of Germany (FDP) and the Free Voters' Association of Heilbronn (FWV).

The deficiency has now been recognized and as a citizen of Heilbronn and an experienced trainer, I offer the Heilbronn city administration to remedy this deficiency by offering the responsible employees free further training in party studies and election poster recognition.
