Woody Allen quoted in his film Annie Hall from 1977 in his role as Alvy Singer an old joke that perfectly sums up our present time.

“There's an old joke. Um... two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of 'em says, 'Boy, the food at this place is really terrible.' The other one says, 'Yeah, I know; and such small portions.' Well, that's essentially how I feel about life - full of loneliness, and misery, and suffering, and unhappiness, and it's all over much too quickly."

Furthermore, today we are easily able to see a glass of water as half full and half empty at the same time; The main thing is that we don't have to choose one side or the other.

But maybe it's just time for everyone that we at least create clarity for ourselves.

The first law of philosophy: For every philosopher, there exists an equal and opposite philosopher.
The second law of philosophy: They're both wrong.
