When visitors write comments on my weblog, I collect the data displayed in the comment form on the article pages or in the guestbook, as well as the visitor's IP address and the user agent string (which identifies the browser) to help automatically detect spam.
An anonymized character string (also known as a hash) can be created from your e-mail address and passed to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. Here you will find Privacy Policy of the Gravatar service.
After your comment or guestbook entry has been approved, your profile picture will also be publicly visible in the context of your comment, provided you have stored it on Gravatar.
I only publish comments or guestbook entries if they can be attributed to a specific person.

VG word
Cookies and traffic reports
I use "session cookies" from VG Wort, Munich, to measure access to texts in order to determine the likelihood of copying. Session cookies are small units of information that a provider stores in the memory of the visitor's computer. A randomly generated unique identification number, a so-called session ID, is stored in a session cookie. A cookie also contains information about its origin and the storage period. Session cookies cannot store any other data. These measurements are carried out by Kantar Germany GmbH using the Scalable Central Measurement Method (SZM). They help to determine the likelihood of individual texts being copied in order to compensate for legal claims of authors and publishers. I do not collect any personal data via cookies.
My services can also be used without cookies. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent.
Privacy policy for the use of the Scalable Central Measurement System
My weblog and my mobile website use the “Scalable Central Measurement Method” (SZM) of Kantar Germany GmbH to determine statistical parameters for determining the likelihood of texts being copied.
Anonymous measurements are taken. Alternatively, traffic metering uses a session cookie or a signature created from various automatically transmitted information from your browser to recognize computer systems. IP addresses are only processed in anonymous form.
The procedure was developed in compliance with data protection. The only goal of the procedure is to determine the copying probability of individual texts.
At no time individual users are identified. Your identity always remains protected. You will not receive advertising through the system.
Information, Deletion, Blocking
You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. You can contact me at any time at the address given on the website if you have any further questions on the subject of personal data.
Objection advertising mail
We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. I expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
