laughter

I'm just wondering why I have to dodge so many cars and motorbikes in the pedestrian zone today when I can see two of our employees from the local police department doing extensive window shopping. Now I hope that our city employees will soon have done their Christmas shopping, otherwise the Bundeswehr will have to do it too.

I would have liked to have watched our employees at work a little longer when the vaccination bus with a large queue of people wanting to be vaccinated caught my eye. Suddenly there are many, completely convinced and very committed, anti-vaccination opponents who are now pushing ahead with even more conviction so as not to run the risk of having to pay 19 euros for the next COVID-10 test.

My thoughts on this: you shouldn't annoy your fellow citizens for months with a conviction that isn't even worth 10 euros to you. And hopefully as many defective microchips as possible were in the syringes, because that hurts when peeing!

sign of time

Dieter schwarz and Reinhold Wuerth — only two local examples — have long since recognized that our society is falling apart more and more and the organs and institutions that bind it have stopped functioning — why this is the case should not be discussed here.

So people like these two build their own infrastructure (airfield) and private schools (primary school to university). They even take over the construction of social housing. So it's no longer surprising that there are cultural institutions and even a church of its own.

If private sports facilities, clinics and secure care facilities are added to this, then a section of the population — no matter what else happens here — can withdraw to themselves with peace of mind. For those people who are lucky enough to belong, there is definitely a fine thing that worked quite well in the USA for a few decades.

If other of us also recognize these signs of the times, we could discuss whether we as a society as a whole actually want such a separation, and if we say no, think about how we can all find our way back together.

I firmly believe that the initiatives of Dieter schwarz and Reinhold Wuerth are well intentioned, will certainly show good results in the short to medium term, but will have exactly the opposite effect in the long term.

Society is simply too complex to be able to turn just a few screws. But sometimes it is already enough if you think back to the common values and make them acceptable in society again. Then the rest will come naturally!

concern

The most recent decisions of our judiciary, that fraudsters are not fraudsters, since they only intentionally endanger human life, and that the falsification of documents should only be punished in very special cases, gives a deep insight. In the meantime, lying and fraud is not only highly ministerial or a unique selling point of state leaders, but is already so widespread that our judiciary probably considers it a German peculiarity - this means that fraudsters in Germany are under "species protection".

Nevertheless, we should not ignore the effects, at least on our environment. We are directly affected when we want to feel comfortable in society, whether in the winter village or when shopping, and can now assume that we are the only ones there who gained access with real vaccination certificates. It becomes tragic when counterfeiters and fraudsters rob us of our lives!

But we should also think about the long-term consequences for all of us. If word gets around among our neighbors that German documents are no longer valid, flights to the USA, for example, could soon be suspended again. And what is a German driver's license or even a diploma worth?

site of the day

European Constitution

"Europe is our past and present, and it is our conviction that it is also our future. Not only are we bound by a common European culture and history - and therefore form a common European people -, but we increasingly face challenges that none of us, as European nations, can solve separately. Our ability to ensure a peaceful and prosperous future for ourselves and coming generations depends on our ability to come together. EuropeanConstitution.eu was founded on the belief that a common constitution was a cornerstone element for the realization of a united Europe, founded on stable and lasting ground."
