Rail

As a car country, we've never really had anything to do with rail. the Frankenbahn is still poorly developed than before the Second World War. Recently, even the Gäubahn has been marginalized. The Rhine track will probably only really come to fruition in the coming century, and if the federal government and Bavaria had not insisted, even Stuttgart 21 would hardly have been realized.

Not to mention the many branch lines that have been shut down, at least to this day, and whose reactivation, if at all possible, will probably take decades.

Just a few years ago, the Minister of Transport opted for the Expansion of the Franconian Railway declared incompetent — unfortunately I threw that letter in the trash — and now he sees in the case of Abellio also quite logically no responsibility for the state. It would also be a very big surprise if ministers were responsible or even responsible for something here!

The Land

I was very happy about the corresponding letters to the editor in yesterday's Heilbronner Voice and also about similar comments in conversations with my fellow citizens.

There should also perhaps be a committee of inquiry in the state parliament, although we all know that these are often used for self-portrayal, but otherwise end up like the Hornberger shooting.

There must be a reason for the sudden waste of 21 million euros in tax money. It probably won't be a senile prime minister. So you can - if others don't do it - think about where recent election campaigns, eg in the federal government, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania or Berlin, were contested and who organized them or even co-financed them. It would be very unpleasant if they now benefited from the 21 million euros from Baden-Württemberg.

But there are certainly other reasons. The State Ministry could fully disclose this and not only constantly promise transparency to us citizens, but actually deliver something once in a while.

378!

That with the Incidence something like that gets on my nerves, especially because I'm firmly convinced that competent top management could have handled this a lot better.

But instead of communicating the pandemic and its effects correctly and more intensively to the people of Heilbronn right from the start, we remember (!) that everyone in Heilbronn was shown that as a VIP you don’t have to follow any corresponding rules. And when the Heilbronner voice published the associated Ringelpiez photo, everyone was fooled into believing that the prescribed distances and measures were observed in the picture, but unfortunately they were depicted incorrectly.

Not only do people like to take people from Heilbronn for fools, they are also convinced that you can really do anything with us.

So it was actually foreseeable that many people in Heilbronn would claim the same behavior for themselves, and it was only logical that they then refrained from checking the necessary COVID-19 countermeasures, let alone sanctioning violations.

So I hold:

  • No role model function of those responsible
  • Insufficient communication of the facts
  • Insufficient list and competence of the responsible authorities
  • Insufficient controls of the necessary measures
  • Hardly any sanctions for violations

So it shouldn't come as a surprise that the incidence here is well over 300 again. But the really bad thing is that all of us — especially those who do almost everything right and behave in an exemplary manner — must continue to suffer and, since we are still more considerate of the perpetrators than of the victims, we soon are likely to be held jointly liable again.

And then it will be made clear to us again, when we all have to sit at home again but can see the latest Ringelpiez photos in the Heilbronner voice, that although we are all the same, the more equal smile at us from the Heilbronner voice.
