gratifying

Our German "monster parliaments“ have often been a topic here on this weblog; even if you compare that with China or India, we have long been world champions when it comes to the number of people's representatives. Although I fear that we will soon have more people's representatives (Bundestag & state parliaments) than the 1,3 billion Chinese (2 MPs).

Without question, the Bundestag is officially the largest democratically elected parliament in the world (736 members) - the European Parliament (705 members) comes second. India has 545 MPs and the US has 435 MPs. By the way, the whole of Switzerland has 200 MPs.

I am therefore pleased that the state FDP is now trying to at least reduce the number of constituencies in Baden-Württemberg and thus counteract the unrestrained growth of the state parliament: instead of 70 there should only be 38 constituencies in the future. With 154 members, the state parliament already has 34 more members than it should have.

As a result of the electoral law reform passed by the Greens, the CDU and the SPD in the spring, everyone fears a further increase in the number of MPs - I assume that we will easily overtake Switzerland in the coming elections.

If you then also take into account the entourage of every Member of Parliament, which is quite normal today, then we have a professional group here that should have had its own trade union long ago. And I fear that we will not be able to afford this immense political and administrative apparatus much longer. In addition, we run the risk that we will soon have to recruit appropriate experts from North Korea (687), Cuba (605), Turkey (584) or the People's Republic of China, those countries that still have such experts, just to maintain them.

globules

The Globuli cartel discovered another way to exploit us taxpayers and the community of solidarity. Millions of hard-earned funds are already flowing into a highly shady "professional group". And because it has not yet been possible to prove that these people intentionally killed sick fellow human beings, and the globules they sell have no effect, i.e. no negative effects either, they are allowed to expand their activities further.

In addition, you can study "hocus pocus" much more comfortably and less strenuously than e.g. B. human medicine, and also good money is made with the sale of globules. So it comes as no surprise that this is a market with a future for us. But only because this market is also subsidized by us taxpayers.

One might think so, and with good reason. Because if we soon can no longer afford real hospitals with appropriately trained staff, we will be prescribed globules and wart talkers by the health insurance companies - probably the future of the German health system.

The normal doctors will then only be available for private patients or for those fellow citizens who still want to and can afford it.

That is why yesterday's initiative by our Federal Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach, namely that homeopathic medicines will no longer be covered by health insurance companies, fail miserably; as an ordinary doctor, he simply hasn't really understood our healthcare system yet.

Land of milk and honey

You don't have to be surprised if people come to us from all over the world and then show their disappointment that the sausages don't grow into their mouths by themselves. Because in the last few decades, our welfare state has assumed excesses that can neither be financed nor offer adequate help to those who are actually in need.

Our welfare state alone has ensured that far too many people, and especially us locals, assume that you don't have to contribute anything at all to be able to lead a more than comfortable life.

Worse still, this is being propagated by a whole new layer of society and vehemently claimed by "the state"; these are the very people who live solely by making us all believe that we are entitled to everything without ever having to do anything ourselves. And since one always believes what one sees oneself, we can see very well how these people live very well from and with this propaganda lie.

And since these people live better the more needy there are for whom they pretend to work, everything is fought that could tempt people to take personal responsibility and especially to act on their own.

Ultimately, this means that all those who are still willing and able to perform will either migrate or, completely unscrupulously, set themselves at the "front of progress" - at least as long as you can find other people who do this Financing Cockaigne, e.g. B. the future generations yet to be born.

Two comments: firstly, you would have to produce them and secondly, why should these new young people even want to start doing anything themselves?

Let's hope that Elon Musk keeps our word and in ten years we will have robots that will really do everything for us. How long they will do this remains to be seen. Artificial intelligence might actually be smarter than we all would like it to be.

mailing list

Since I'm always up for gimmicks, I've set up my own mailing list for this weblog. Interested parties can access the forum right here. Anyone who subscribes to this mailing list can also exchange ideas there via this weblog.

And if this tool will also be used, I can set up further mailing lists for very specific topics or groups. For all those who don't know what to do with the term "mailing list" right away, I have made a corresponding entry in the forum.

And for all those who are now probably rightly asking why I'm still doing something like this, here's the answer: Quite simply, because I can do it.

Addendum 15.4.2023

Since my readers didn't need any mailing lists, I shut them down again. I'm currently concentrating on Threema for this — an advantage is that I don't have to administer it myself.
