After a long absence I have activated Instagram again, because other bloggers also use this medium and pictures often say more than words. I still can't imagine how you can combine blog and photo show, but I like to post a few snapshots myself every now and then. And if this then leads to one or the other finding themselves on my weblog, I should be fine with that.
Groko
For years, many fellow citizens including me, repeatedly preached that grand coalitions must be an exception and serve only one purpose, namely as legislators with a large majority to implement necessary social changes.
Despite all warnings our professional politicians have made themselves comfortable in a “GroKo” for a long time, not even introducing at least significant changes, but cementing the political and social standstill for years.
And this has other serious consequences, namely, on the one hand, that without political changes and the corresponding challenges, both the quality of those involved in the government and that of the GroKo deputies themselves will drop very quickly, but nepotism and corruption will take on unimagined features.
And on the other hand, a GroKo strengthens the political fringes in particular and at the same time leads to disenchantment with democracy within the population.
Elections
Today we will once again be able to see the consequences of this, although we all hope that in Saxony-Anhalt the anti-democrats (AfD and Left) will not already be able to win a majority there.
But we already know about the reactions of professional politics: in September 2021 those responsible will throw themselves into another grand coalition (Green-Black?), cement the standstill for decades to come and thereby continue to secure their sinecure as well as those of a banana republic .
But that only works as long as we citizens can still finance the Scheuers and Spahns of professional politics or until the citizens vote out of democracy altogether - from 18.00 p.m. it will be really exciting!
Addendum
On September 12, 2021 I stopped my Instagram activities again. In my case, this social medium is a complete waste of time.
