Big International Festival

And I was still wondering why so many people came to the last partner meeting of EUROPA-UNION Heilbronn, including some who have been working together with the city administration on another festival for years.

Now, quite casually, I have been informed that the preparations for the new Great International Festival have come to a standstill. And that now also explains the surprisingly large number of participants.

You just have to love your fellow citizens.

The Saarland has voted, a federal state the size of a normal constituency and the special situation that it can only exist on credit - similar to Greater Berlin.

The fact that this federal state still exists at all is the only interesting thing about this topic. The fact that there is now a new Prime Minister who hardly anyone knows is not very tragic. Who knows the Heilbronn district administrator? It is quite sufficient that the Saarlanders know their prime minister. With the last one, the only way they obviously got a chance to see it was to turn on a talk show on TV. And whether that is a good idea for a district where the district administrator is elected directly has been in doubt since yesterday.

Perhaps the following fact is also of interest, namely that of the two main perpetrators of this electoral debacle, Friedrich Merz and Markus Söder, hears nothing at all. And these two gentlemen are constantly bawling around in all channels and media - only yesterday it was suddenly completely quiet around both of them. Some Hans [Wurst] then took responsibility after all, and it's good! Party politics should, yes, should work differently.

But I would also like to address something consistently positive, namely the Saarlanders themselves. They finally removed the left-wing party of higher earners from the state parliament. Now the Saarland voters would only have to expel their sister party on the far right from the state parliament next time, and then the Saarland could at least become a “state of hearts”.
