This morning I was allowed to start a trip within our federal state. I was also able to find out about the current status of Stuttgart 21 and the new line to Ulm — it now looks as if I will be able to ride this line myself one day.

On the way back, I noticed the poster for the first time, which advertises the most beautiful stretch of motorway in Germany — if I hadn’t read it today, I wouldn’t have noticed this fact, even after 40 years, and certainly not on future trips either. You don't know the most beautiful section of the Autobahn? That's the one on the Drackensteiner Hang, at least that's what the poster says there.

So today I come to the conclusion that driving a car educates. But that also explains why so many boys and also a few girls keep driving up and down the avenue in their cars. After the 500th time, we have the Abitur.

But the said poster on the autobahn is probably just an indication that the expansion of the federal autobahn 40 on the Drackensteiner Hang, which has been planned for a good 8 years, will take another 50 years to come, because who would want the most beautiful stretch of autobahn in Germany without a good one eliminate reason?
