Flight MH17

We remember that on July 17, 2014, Putin had the civil airliner flight number MH17 shot down and murdered almost 300 EU citizens, just to show the EU "his power". Even more than seven years after the mass murder, our politicians dare not name who was actually responsible, despite all the evidence that was immediately available at the time.

Only last year did Dutch prosecutors dare to charge three Russians and one Ukrainian with the murder of 298 people.

At the moment, Putin is openly threatening, one could almost say, once again, with a nuclear strike. The Ukrainians, who are all fighting for their lives right now, will certainly not be impressed by this anymore.

Our leaders will once again appease, threaten sanctions and ultimately make new concessions to Putin.

Ultimately, it will have to be the Russian people themselves who once again liberate the world from a dictator through their personal and probably very costly efforts! Perhaps a Russian general will manage to make an independent and correct decision.

Dear Russian citizens, you could denazify yourselves very quickly this time, because in the entire Russian sphere of influence there should only be one, and he is based in Moscow.

What if Russia Wins?

Today I recommend an article by Liana Fix and Michael Kimage in Foreign Affairs of February 18, 2022, subtitled "A Kremlin-Controlled Ukraine Would Transform Europe."

Anyone who reads this article will understand why the western world absolutely must prevent Putin from winning again. Our democracies in Europe — except perhaps that of the UK — would not survive that victory for very long.

And anyone who fears that we Germans will not be able to afford to support the Ukraine cannot even begin to imagine what its downfall will cost us!

Shocked

ARD and ZDF journalists don't seem to want to understand that the democratic Ukraine is in a struggle for existence and has to try with all means to keep the state institutions alive. This also includes checking who and with what these people then leave the country. If Ukraine is no longer able to do this, it will be the beginning of the end.

It is also true that Ukraine is trying to motivate its able-bodied men to defend their country. I am very positively surprised that some women are also fighting - that is real emancipation! Not like here, where more and more women are claiming top positions without any effort or effort.

What is wrong is that we allow Ukrainian men of military age to stay in the EU. This is undermining Ukraine's will to defend itself and directly supporting the Putin regime. Worse still, deserters and shirkers are not an asset to the EU, but a liability and ultimately a danger to us all. And we already have far too many of them here!

Whoever does this to their soldiers, Mr. Putin, deserves to end up on the gallows!
