promises

In addition to a restrained election campaign roar, with most parties now only characterized by their own incompetence, the respective party soldiers march through the local media and simply promise the citizens everything and especially what the citizens like to hear at the moment.

Based on the promises in today's newspaper alone, Heilbronn should be the most attractive city of all time. The problem with this is that the other citizens in all other cities in Germany are simply promised everything. And so, after the election, we will again wait for the cornucopia of European and German subsidy payments to be poured out over Heilbronn.

Then, if it should be appropriate, we can allow ourselves to be asked again: "What promise would you like to have?" In Heilbronn there have been enough promises from the last eight decades that are still waiting to be fulfilled.

amazement

Today one can also read in the newspaper that fellow citizens are surprised at how at least one mayor and the city administration do not quite comply with the resolutions of the municipal council.

On the other hand, I am surprised that at least parts of our municipal council have noticed this after all these years. It should be known to us Heilbronners that not only the city administration, but also the municipal council itself, likes to delay everything that is not exactly in their own interest. Alternatively, people are always happy to wait until there are subsidies for a project in order to then implement it in accordance with the relevant requirements; whether it still suits Heilbronn or not doesn't matter.

What surprises me is that we now have a kind of centralized financial administration in the “federal state” of Germany. We give all our money to Berlin and can be happy if we get some of it back!

State parliaments and local councils, which are no longer masters of their own finances, are pure sham parliaments that are dependent on a drip from a central administration — do we really want that?!

pianos

They're back, the colorful ones Pianos for everyone. This time, a total of seven pianos should be available in the city center until October.

If you don't want to play the piano yourself, you can walk around the seven musical instruments in Heilbronn, all of which are painted differently, and if you're lucky, you'll also find a local pianist who will enchant your surroundings.

incidence of the day

In Heilbronn we have a seven-day incidence of 95,6. This continues to increase.

It's amazing that the Heilbronn voice no longer reports about it. So shortly before the election date, we Heilbronn should probably be spared everything negative.
