class society

Now this topic is also touched on a little in the Heilbronner Voice (April 25.4.2023, 21: XNUMX), whereby the actual problem is immediately addressed by Simon Gajer is repressed again. And the mayor also immediately solved the problem by vehemently rejecting fears of a two-class society at primary schools.

Now it should really be clear to everyone that we (above all) also have a real problem in Heilbronn, namely the increasing destruction of our education system. This has been happening out of full conviction since the 68 movement, and we are only now becoming a little more aware of it, since the so-called middle class now has to fear that they will no longer be able to secure an adequate education for their own children.

In Heilbronn, the "non-existent problem" according to the SPD and the Greens is solved by subsidizing somewhat more privileged families for better schooling and by allowing ordinary people to continue to send their children to public schools, which are becoming increasingly poor.

We've been seeing how that ends for decades in the United States and also in the United Kingdom. And that this is promoted by those parties that describe themselves as “social” and “educational” no longer needs to be understood.

Cycling

Something very special in Heilbronn. I have also written about this many times and today it is once again a topic in the Heilbronn voice. What I don't really understand is how someone from Heilbronn can even come up with the idea that the Netherlands or even Denmark have the same geographical conditions for cycling as we do.

In my opinion, this can only be people who have never ridden a bike themselves, let them ride a bike, or have an e-bike, preferably one that has been tuned so that it can race up any mountain at top speed.

But I don't want to go into this any further either, because I still remember the shit storm that swept over me when I claimed that the majority of us from Heilbronn were fair-weather cyclists. You can see this for yourself at the cycling measurement stations that are set up in Heilbronn and in bad weather - it doesn't even have to be dribble - significantly less cycling counts.

Start of the week

This week already had a lot to offer on Monday. Almost traditionally, it began with a tour of the northern part of the district, whereby I was able to collect a few donations for the meseno social shop. It was also during this time that I had my first encounter with a “food rescuer”. And anyone who now believes that food rescuers save food is probably also convinced that brimstone butterflies fold lemons. But let's leave that for today.

After my job at meseno, I was able to go on to the university straight away, because there I was allowed to attend a lecture by Thomas Michl introduce the topic "Agile project management is not a silver bullet" and then later analyze it with the students. Thomas Michl also presented this topic in a very appealing way and I know that he could pass on a great deal of experience and know-how to the students if they only took the opportunity to do so. And so I was a little amazed at how few students took advantage of this opportunity - especially since they study at a university - a University of Applied Sciences.

Today the lectures continue, and this week I want to concentrate on quality management — and it would be a good thing if a very specific coffee machine on the educational campus were to work again. In any case, I'm already looking forward to following up with you Detlef Stern, because we will have a few common students on the topic, but at least we will take a closer look at their recent achievements.

Yesterday I walked straight from the university to the town hall, where I already Herbert Burkhardt was waiting for me. After a somewhat longer series of meetings (You can find out more about this on the Free Voters website) I was able to walk back home relaxed through the pedestrian zone to devote myself to my actual tasks there. And at the end of the day I went through my lecture notes again.
