Bundestag XXL

The 20th German Bundestag will be constituted in Berlin tomorrow, Tuesday. He will with 736 seats the largest Bundestag of all time and it is considered certain that the coming one will be even greater. We will soon have the largest parliament in the world and probably already the second largest democratically elected one. For almost 80 million German citizens, this is a luxury that you have to be able to afford.

senior president German politican, which can also very easily be considered no longer good at all, and which, by the way, no longer follows well-established democratic traditions. The new President of the Bundestag should Baerbel Bas of which even those interested in politics have hardly heard anything, which shows once again that quotas and proportional representation have meanwhile replaced performance and competence even in Parliament.

Dunning-Kruger effect

How do I get that? And that on a Monday morning. The term goes back to a publication from 1999 David Dunning and Justin Kruger back. This is entitled: "Unskilled and Unaware of It: How Difficulties in Recognizing One's Own Incompetence Lead to Inflated Self-Assessments" and was published in Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (1999, Issue 77:1121-1134).

The systematic erroneous tendency in the self-image of incompetent people to overestimate their own knowledge and skills is referred to as the Dunning-Kruger effect. Dunning and Kruger found that when it comes to playing chess and driving a car, for example, ignorance often leads to more confidence than knowledge.

You can find three corresponding examples in a post by Deidre Rath in Human Resource Manager (August 26, 2019). There is hardly a nicer way to start a week, because we have plenty of chosen ones.

jobs

They actually exist, interesting, demanding and also fulfilling professions. In addition, we had a very good training system that ensured that the willing and good could achieve mastery in their chosen profession — you might think, what more could a person want?

Unfortunately, it's becoming more and more popular that even an apprenticeship — let alone the necessary learning — shouldn't be strenuous (including the educational promise of the SPD). Added to this is the insane opinion that all those who are too lazy or too stupid to learn a trade are or deserve “something better” and are therefore at least budding scientists.

Only those who are already too stupid or too lazy to learn a trade will be able to complete a degree, even with our now very numerous and also very simple options, which is also very, very easy with the universally popular bachelor's degree become completely overwhelmed and fail.

For these fellow citizens who are resistant to education and diligence, there is now a completely new career start by officially taking your desired subject and entering a corresponding educational institution at least once - this is now also possible online.

Then you have the degree straight away: for example, a degree in economics or a degree in education, but even better, a degree in science — the future all-round genius!

The WirtschaftsWoche writes about this today "Everyone has a certain right to raise the bar" — it was nice!
