A ship comes loaded
Sebastian Schaffer, my favorite nephew, gets us all in the mood for the upcoming Christmas celebrations. I mean, there's nothing more to add to that.

Websites are not archives, neither are they Email accounts are not filing. And so I have, my Minimalism Project continuing, even websites that are very close to my heart are finally deleted. Among them were my oldest surviving websites, such as iiics.org and worldcitizenship.com.
Websites are more like newspapers than books, so those that can't be kept up to date — for whatever reason — should make the World Wide Web a little more manageable by eliminating them.
It's a little harder for me to delete the forum that was set up recently, during the pandemic. But here too, forums are not archives either and owe their existence only to their daily users. So the only thing that remains to be considered is whether one or the other content should and can be archived in any form whatsoever.
Archive
Good news is currently coming from Florence, more precisely from the archives of the European Union there. The inventory of the EUROPA-UNION Heilbronn is making great strides. Due to the accuracy of the records, however, 30-year blocking notices are often set.
If you have not yet thought about your own archive in your function as a board member of the Heilbronn association, I recommend that you contact the Heilbronn city archive. I am firmly convinced that some processes of voluntary work deserve to be preserved for posterity, and our professional archives are ideal for this.

“The Heilbronn City Archive and its holdings are the central office for local historical research. It keeps the municipal records, also collects non-official documents and makes the material accessible to users, the reading and research room is available for research.”
Archives of the European Union (HAEU)
"The HAEU preserves and makes accessible for research the archives deposited by EU institutions according to the thirty-year rule governing access to archival material. It also collects and preserves private papers of individuals, movements and international organizations involved in European integration."
