hypocrisy
Trips to Ukraine are currently very topical. Every politician, from the federal government to the local council level, wants to Vladimir Putin You can then easily feign support and later even tell all your voters how you sacrificed yourself “back then” as a hero for “people and country”.
What I like best about this are the well-known conscientious objectors and shirkers who are now making headlines with all their security and military expertise. The very best specialists now see a German AI as the new V2. Perhaps it would be a good idea if we all improved our own chess skills a little before that.
Apartment Search
A painful topic, especially here in Heilbronn. This problem could have been solved long ago, but not if we keep electing the same mayor and the same local councillors, because they are known to revel in the misery of their fellow citizens.
I have currently received more than 66 inquiries for an apartment in the city center, although I have not yet really advertised it. But like in 2019 and also wrote in the blog this year that our local councillors are not really interested in a solution because they would have to make decisions and might even lose their own advantages. In any case, however, they have a good issue in the upcoming election to score points with their own voters: some pretend to be social and others pretend to be Caritas.
Another problem is the many completely unnecessary requirements that make it almost impossible for ordinary homeowners to offer apartments on the market. Hardly anyone knows about the many requirements and regulations that must be met and observed in order to be able to offer housing with a relatively low penalty.
The carbon dioxide cost allocation law is exciting, for example, especially when every tenant can have their own supplier. Even more exciting are the required energy certificates, which all have a specific term, but lose their actual significance with every structural change - if they ever had any at all.
My fear here too is that they want to completely ruin the so-called middle class and thus pave the way for a "strong" state, or at least for ominous large corporations - democracy and a market economy have never been so popular in Germany.
Website
For the first time since 2017 It is becoming apparent that I will have to hand over a website that I maintain. Switching to WordPress should accomplish exactly that.
Today I had a visit from Désirée and Benjamin. The reason for this was the necessary preliminaries so that I could take over the Free Voters website. It was very pleasing to see how competently both of them approached the matter.
So I now hope that the first submission of a website can be completed successfully. I hope that this will not only rejuvenate the website authors, but also the readership. And as a result, completely new voters.
Perhaps this is necessary, because some Free Voters are actually striving to become a party in Heilbronn — once again. If these members are successful, my own membership in the Free Voters will also be over.
Perhaps that's why we were in such a hurry to take over the website. But let's leave that aside for now - think positive!
