European regular's table

Our weekly European regulars' table was actually supposed to have cycling as a topic again, but then completely different topics came up, such as the new one Anti-LGBT Law of Hungary. All of the regulars were of the same opinion, namely that the EU was finally Victor Orban must put in his place.

As I understand the first feedback from our already open swimming pools, it will probably be for me after 2015 become an issue again. At that time I had to negotiate for months, even in writing, with the responsible municipal employees so that at least minimum standards were met; Finally, I also agreed to take over the rescue services and lifeguards in the pools again.

Cycle paths & city portal

Already tried once on our urban site to find something specific? Yesterday I just wanted to find out about the latest developments in cycling, and to see a map of the Heilbronn cycle path network and possibly an associated concept.

Too bad that Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny didn't know this city portal in 1976; I assume that the story "Les Douze travaux d'Astérix" would have had a completely different ending.

have me Herbert Burkhardt and a helpful city worker temporarily saved them by providing me with the following documents:

Interested parties can now see for themselves how we want to improve cycling in Heilbronn, or why Cycling in Heilbronn does not make drivers and pedestrians happy, nor the cyclists themselves.

By the way, I still don't have a map in which all cycle paths are marked. the official city map is quite good in itself, except that it does not include any bike paths; but for that public toilets, which unfortunately hardly ever exist in reality.

Hohenzollern Lawsuit Wiki

“Part of the self-understanding of a democracy is the continuous examination of its history. The current debate, which is being conducted in connection with the demands of the so-called "House of Hohenzollern" on the public sector, represents in many respects a fundamental democratic self-understanding discourse, not least because the major political upheavals of the 20th century appear as if in a prism In this case, the debate between the young Weimar democracy and the old monarchical elites, the part played by these elites in the destruction of democracy in 1933 and the perception and evaluation of these developments in the period after 1945 and in the present. The revolution of 1918 led to the forced abdication of Wilhelm II as King of Prussia and German Emperor and thus spelled the end of the monarchy. The young republic was faced with the difficult task of dividing the former monarchical property into the private assets of the former ruling family and the state assets of the new democratic community. While in Austria most of the Habsburg assets were expropriated for the benefit of war victims, in Germany the property dispute was treated not as a political but as a legal issue. For the former Prussian ruling family, a corresponding partition agreement was concluded with the Prussian state in 1926 after lengthy negotiations. For reasons that are not known to the general public, this treaty is now the subject of renegotiations between Georg Friedrich Prince of Prussia, the great-great-grandson of the last German Emperor. A chapter of history that was actually closed is now being reopened again today.”
