Grown up

For the first time in decades, it seems that the Junge Union is actually somewhat emancipating itself. Although they've never really been good with content - back in the 1970s they were more likely to shine with "riverboat parties" than with programmatic work - but they always knew exactly who was most suitable for the position being given .

Most recently, they only shone with their popular cult of personality, which they lived out differently depending on their region and usually concentrated on one candidate shortly before elections.

Now — right after several electoral defeats — they are actually starting to saw off one or the other chair, although also Markus Söder, who became the best CDU party friend — before Sebastian Kurz — has ever developed, gets rid of his fat. Who knows, maybe it's the beginning that the Junge Union is now also interested in the person behind the facade and, one hardly dares to think, begins to deal with the content - but please not again that of glasses and bottles all kinds.

Toilet

The positive news of the day was also in the voice of Heilbronn. The first bus station in Heilbronn — the one on Karlstrasse — is now getting one public toilet.

This will remedy a state of affairs near the redesigned city garden that has been unacceptable for years and is obviously also known to the city. Let's hope that this toilet facility will remain open and operated.

If either

With a previous announcement, Heilbronn decides to continue standing still, which is always a step backwards, as is well known.

After the municipal council had once again decided on the most convenient way, "defeated" itself and put together an election campaign package worth millions for the incumbent, and he can now distribute the funds in a press-friendly and very targeted manner in the city society, an election victory is no longer likely in the way.

The voice of Heilbronn has been writing its fingers sore for a while now, and the next inauguration ceremonies for municipal construction projects are already being planned.

So the rest is just a mere formality. The municipal council has now elected nine members of the municipal election committee. The mayor takes the chair Martin Diepgen.

The deadline for submitting the application documents begins on Saturday, November 13, 2021 and ends on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 18.00:XNUMX p.m. No party will field its own candidate — let alone an outside expert.

Election day is then Sunday, February 6, 2022.

The only thing that is still exciting now is which local party book holder the municipal council will decide on in 2030 — the backroom talks are definitely already underway.

birthday of the day
