Pleasing

At first I was a little surprised by a "Pastors' Day" that recently brought around 500 pastors to Heilbronn. It is interesting to note that pastors also organize themselves and have had their own associations in Baden-Württemberg since 1891 and 1892; these associations hold a Pastors' Day once a year.

The whole thing would have passed me by without a trace, had it not been for the Protestant regional bishop of Württemberg, Ernst-Wilhelm Gohl, yesterday in Heilbronn, distanced himself from extremist parties "from both the right and the left." And so the regional bishop took a clear stance, namely by saying the following: "As a Christian, you cannot vote for the AfD."

Also pleasing, this morning there is another coffee together with Detlef Stern and that before I throw myself into the next lecture.

Handicraft

I tinkered around with the blog again and removed one or two plugins or addons. I briefly thought about deactivating my other social media accounts, but then decided against it. Shortly afterwards I was amazed that Detlef Stern once “closes” such an account in front of me.

And since I was already at it, my better half and I folded a few member letters and put them in appropriate envelopes. When I updated the statutes of the EUROPA-UNION Heilbronn a few years ago, I forgot to simplify the postal route. And so the club members receive a written invitation to the general meeting by post once a year. And every time I "put" letters in envelopes, I think about whether it wouldn't be easier to initiate another change to the statutes. But then the opportunity arises. Herbert Steudel to help send the letters and I am once again enjoying good old group work.

Because I was a bit distracted this time, a mistake struck in the letter; my quality management was also asleep and so I am now curious to see whether I receive appropriate feedback.

And since I'm already doing some crafting, I also have to clear out the apartment. This time, however, I'm getting professional help.

Start of the week

Yesterday's start to the week went quite well. The trip on the meseno bus was very successful and we were able to refill one or two shelves and the display. I also found out that my "Harris-Walz Embroidered Camo Hat" is finally arriving. If we are all lucky, I will be able to wear the hat on election day to celebrate the victory of Kamala Harris carry.

But if you look around in the US media, it still looks like it will continue to be a neck and neck race. And in one Donald Trump He is actually right, he can really do and say anything, the Republicans will vote for him without any ifs or buts.
