Rien a declarer

Sometimes it just has to be an older movie, so once again I treated myself to a comedy from 2010, namely "Nothing to declare" from Dany Boon — pure coincidence that it had to be on Valentine's Day.

For me it's always a déjà vu, because I was able to experience the facts myself at the very time when the film is set. And I can confirm that Dany Boon hit this one completely.

The film, whether in French or in German, can only be recommended to everyone. Poelvoorde plays the (then) very typical Belgian customs officer Ruben Vandevoorde, who not only moves border posts in his free time, but also a few years later in 2015 as God in the film "Le tout nouveau testament“ (Jacob Van Dormael) shone.

But back to Nothing to Declare — you simply have to see this film once, and I bet you'll want to watch it again and again. And if I'm already recommending these two films, then I have to do it right away Dany Boons 2008 film that you probably know: "Welcome to the Sticks' — this must be watched in French, however, so that it can have its full effect on the viewer.

Markthalle

It is very gratifying that the Heilbronn CDU is now also joining a very old demand by the Free Voters and is calling for a market hall for Heilbronn. I also had 2018 here in the weblog a market hall for Heilbronn stimulated — some fellow citizens just always need a little longer.

Admittedly, the concept of an "egg-laying Wollmichsau" presented today in the Heilbronnerstimme (February 14.02.2022, 32: XNUMX) is very innovative and, if it helps to actually realize a market hall in Heilbronn, very welcome.

I am still firmly convinced that a market hall in Heilbronn would be a success. You could use the concepts of already existing and successful market halls, such as e.g. B. in Stuttgart and Frankfurt, just copy. Sometimes the tried and tested and simple is better and cheaper to implement than completely new and also very innovative concepts.

Campus Founders

Maybe it was a little too early to put up the sign "Universitätsstadt Heilbronn" everywhere on the city limits, because from 2024 at the latest there will be two more superlatives that could be marketed quite well. At least that’s how it can be read today in the Heilbronner Voice (February 14.02.2022, 31: XNUMX), where the two terms “Knowledge City” and “Start-up City” are now brought into play.

In any case, Heilbronn is getting a very attractive new building, and that's definitely worth a weblog post.

"What the Campus Founders are planning in Heilbronn is not so easy for laypeople to understand. Innovation, biotope, mindset – terms that come naturally to those who are out and about here every day have to be explained again and again.”

Voice of Heilbronn (14.02.2022: 31)

So today I simply refer to the reading of the said newspaper article and I'm looking forward to being able to admire this building myself.
