High treason against the federal government

First of all, I quote paragraph 81 of the Criminal Code.

(1) Who undertakes it, by force or by threat of force
1. to impair the existence of the Federal Republic of Germany or
2. Changing the constitutional order based on the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany is punishable by life imprisonment or imprisonment for not less than ten years.

(2) In less serious cases, the penalty is imprisonment from one to ten years.

Criminal Code (StGB), Section 81

For the first time, right after the end of the Second World War, we felt compelled not only to tolerate self-confessed enemies of the state in our ranks, but even to promote them to the highest offices of state simply because of their supposed systemic relevance. And even today there are always trials against mass murderers who were able to spend their entire lives with us unmolested and well protected - not our justice, but only time will heal these unspeakable wounds.

Having grown up in the Federal Republic of Germany and especially at the time when people slowly but surely began to work through this completely pathetic behavior - unfortunately not successfully to this day - I had not thought that this very big mistake could be made in just one human life can repeat. But then, after the terror regime of the Soviet Union finally collapsed, some of our fellow citizens came to realize that, unlike Cuba, they are not an island and, like Belarus, do not border directly on the Russian empire. And so it happened that they - after all the other Eastern Europeans (!) - now looked for the D-Mark in the West.

And hard to believe, once again self-confessed enemies of democracy (SED, Stasi) - and time will probably show it again, even mass murderers - were so systemically relevant that they seamlessly reached the highest offices in our Federal Republic, or at least a very comfortable life without any consequences for their own crimes. Personally, I almost felt sorry for those, mostly followers, who were honest enough and admitted their involvement in this regime of terror; these were then punished without restraint, sometimes even by their own former superiors.

And so my generation has twice witnessed the failure to come to terms with the crimes of a terrorist regime and its supporters. A very dangerous matter, because we all have to ask ourselves what will happen when the tide turns against our democracies. Democrats are certainly not so "systemically relevant" that at least their survival will be secured even in dictatorships. Especially in East Germany we can hear again and again what should happen to us democrats: "Hang them up, burn them or gas them!"

It is now becoming apparent that the system is around Vladimir Putin meanwhile made the third attempt — after the National Socialists and after the Real Socialists — to subjugate at least the rest of Europe. This attempt was started in 2008 at the latest and reached its peak with the invasion of the entire Ukraine.

It looks like we will get off lightly again and our democracies will once again emerge victorious. But one may ask oneself, how often do we actually want to play this Russian roulette?!

And as it turns out, would have Vladimir Putin didn't start this war if he didn't know his Fifth Column was firmly behind him throughout the West! We must therefore ensure that all the names of these traitors are published immediately after the end of the Putin regime. It would be very dangerous if we left the "systemically relevant" criminals in their offices again or even continued to hoist them into such positions.

After 1945 and after 1989 we will hopefully be a little bit smarter in 2023!

Ukraine war

These two YouTube videos are a pretty good summary of the last few months and I will therefore post them here without comment.

The fate of us Europeans depends on whether Ukraine can restore the integrity of its pre-2014 territory.
