Of course, I also look forward to reactions to my posts. Some readers use the good old e-mail to do this, but also the telephone, and even if I no longer think about one or the other blog post myself, I still get asked about it personally from time to time.

However, the easiest way for everyone involved is to use the corresponding comment function. Unfortunately, it is very rarely used — at least by people I can identify as such.

Now, to make things a little easier, I've added a "star rating" feature.

Let's see how this goes down with my readers. — The assessment is made without reference to your own name or IP address.

urbanization

In every city there are very specific circles that more or less take care of themselves, but also take care of city affairs. If both can be combined, so much the better. Cologne is probably well known for this, where the whole thing is so popularly referred to as a clique.

The most successful model of this, let's call it nepotism, can certainly be found in Berlin, whereby all those involved are now completely uninhibited in using German tax money themselves. Things got so out of hand there that even the most optimistic Berliners are talking about a "villageization" of their city.

And even Putin now shows respect to the Berlin government because, unlike him, they have managed to ensure that completely screwed-up elections continue to be recognized and viewed as democratic.

Let's not look to Berlin, however, because urbanization begins wherever parts of the city's population are

  • completely relieved of responsibility and not even going to vote anymore and
  • really accept everything that is presented to them by the municipal council and the city administration without comment.

This works quite well for the first time, since the "doers" are a somewhat smaller number of citizens who take care of the fortunes of the city and can easily and easily come to an agreement with one another.

Unfortunately, however, life and above all a city society is not so uncomplicated, and so these "doers" slowly but surely slip into a vicious circle from which there is no escape - to which they have to belong until their own death, the bitter end. They then just go round in circles and stew in their own juice, problems are no longer perceived and the loss of reality takes its course.

This is accompanied by a creeping loss of legitimacy, which people used to try to compensate for by referring to God. Here in Heilbronn, you can hear more and more often under reproach: "That's what he wants Dieter schwarz so.” or “He will from Dieter schwarz desired."

In the meantime, the only thing that comes to mind is the following: "If only the Führer knew!"

If we want to prevent the urbanization of Heilbronn, then it is time that we

  • don't believe everything that the Heilbronner voice serves up to us or that we hear from our municipal councils - the former have to earn money with their paper and the latter want to be re-elected;
  • start meddling and getting involved in city life again;
  • In any case, always make use of our right to vote - because if you don't vote, you don't count with us either!

And if you don't count in Heilbronn, nobody in Heilbronn cares. Here is a very recent and very, very sad example!

Weblog

after me Detlef Stern drew attention to the fact that there was a small technical discrepancy on my blog, I immediately took the opportunity and tinkered a bit. Among other things, I removed Google Analytics and reset the counter readings for post and page views.

Now I'm curious to see whether I was able to bring about a small improvement or whether it was just an "improvement that made things worse". In any case, I had fun doing it and learned something again.
